Nolton Causey, P.D., owner
The doors of Causey's Pharmacy opened for the first time in 1979. From the first day of opening Causey concentrated chiefly on customer service and providing quality health care.
Nation's Business magazine awarded Causey the 1993 Blue-Chip Enterprise Award for innovation, designating his pharmacy as one of the nations top 100 small businesses. He also received the Outstanding Small Business Award in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1990. In 2002, Causey received the Louisiana Independent Pharmacists of the Year Award.
Today Causey's is consistently among the top performing independent pharmacies in the country. Programs such as the Diabetes Care Center offer unique seminars locally and nationally. Causey also developed and wrote a marketing plan which intrigued pharmacists nation-wide and internationally.
Causey has practiced pharmacy for over 26 years and is a member of the Independent Pharmacy Academy, Louisiana Pharmacy Association, and American Pharmacy Association.
Nolton lives on Cane River Lake with his wife, Lanell. They have three daughters, Lisa, LeAnn, and Crystal. LeAnn graduated with her Doctorate of Pharmacy from her father's Alma Mater, Northeast Louisiana University and now works at Causey's. |

Chris Mayeux, P.D
Chris earned his pharmacy degree from Northeast Louisiana University in 1992. Shortly after, Mayeux joined the team at Causey's Pharmacy.
Chris is the manager of the Home Health Care department. He is a trained specialist in areas such as Infusion Therapy, Internal Nutrition and Primary Compounding Techniques.
Chris and his wife, Michelle Ingram Mayeux,M.D., are both natives of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and have three children, Micheal, Stephen, and William. |

Chad Misuraca, P.D
Chad graduated from Northeast Louisiana University's School of Pharmacy in 1996 and came immediately to work at Causey's. He is a specialist trained in Primary Compounding Techniques and is a key clinician on our home health services team.
Chad is a life-long Natchitoches resident and is married to Mindy Taylor of Winnfield.

Earl Alexander, RN, BSN
Earl graduated from Northwestern State University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. He has a combined experience of over 9 years in Emergency and Home Health Nursing.
He serves as the Regional Patient Care Coordinator for Home IV Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Enteral Nutrition, Durable Medical Equipment, Ostomy, Urologicals, and Medical Supplies.
Earl is a Shreveport native and has resided in Natchitoches Parish for the past 16 years. He is married to Jamie Alexander. Earl and Jamie reside in Clarence, LA and have two children, Austin and Taylor. |

LeAnn Causey Boyd, Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy), BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist), CDM (Certified Disease Manager in Diabetes), CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator)
LeAnn graduated as Summa Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2002, receiving a doctorate in pharmacy. Immediately following graduation she completed a one year primary care residency with the University of Mississippi in Jackson. In 2004 she joined Causey's as the director of clinical services, establishing Rx Solutions, Causey's new clinical division. LeAnn works with patients one on one to resolve medication and health issues. Her progressive services were recognized as the 2004 Louisiana Pharmacist Association Innovative Pharmacist of the Year. LeAnn currently serves on the Louisiana Pharmacist Association Board of Directors, the Louisiana Medicaid Advisory Board, the Louisiana Diabetes Initiative Council, and the Governor's Senior Rx Advisory Board.

Steven T. Boyd, Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy), BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist), CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator)
Steve has recently joined the team at Causey's Pharmacy. He holds a full-time Assistant Professor position with Xavier University of Louisiana and will be developing Causey's Learning Center for pharmacy students from Xavier. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska in 2000 and completed a primary care residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS in 2001.
Steve gained experience in diabetes education and research while working in Sioux City, Iowa at a Federally Qualified Community Health Center. In addition, he has held a position with Creighton University, School of Pharmacy and Health Care Professionals and practiced at the Omaha Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He has been credentialed as a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. |
